Abstract

The low level of Widyaiswara’s creativity affects their ability to write scientific papaers. To overcome these problems, the aim of this study is to describe the improvement of Widyaiswara's creativity in writing with a mind map. This study uses a qualitative approach to library research methods in the form of books, notes and reports on previous research results. Data analysis is obtained through observations, interviews, notes, documents, etc. The data validity technique used the source and the technique of triangulation. While the data were analyzed using an interactive model for the data collection process, data reduction, data presentation and conclusions were drawn. This research resulted, among other things, in the ability of widyaiswara to write KTI was sufficient, although there were several aspects that had to be improved. Some of the barriers faced by the lecturer are lack of opportunities, library research, limited support facilities and lack of motivation, so that efforts are needed to improve writing skills through mind mapping
